Please no snow....
I am currently over in southern clarion county at family farm, driving 90 minutes back and forth some days but frequently staying over. My step dad had a massive brain bleed last week, to honor his requested preference of many years we brought him home last friday to pass. Mom didnt want strangers caring for him so my sister and I did. He passed yesterday so now there is so much more to do for mom and family is travelling. Hoping weather stays decent because right now mom doesn't need more worries.
I am checking in once and a while to keep a sense of normalcy somehow. You folks may not know it but you all are wonderful people and appreciated in ways you cant know.
Tell someone you love them today....
so sorry:hugs

Thank you all for the condolences and thoughts... we will get through this, but friends make it a lighter load.

Hoping everyone stays safe and warm. Remember to run a bucket or two of water and leave it in your tub in case power goes out and water pumps quit working. We have a 5 gallon and 3 gallon bucket in each bathroom for flushing and a couple of large pots in the kitchen. Since we are prepared we probably won't need it but Murphy's Law says if we didn't do it there would be a problem. LOL

No, no snow, please! I'm moving super slow today too. I'm totally not ready for the snow. It always comes when it's least convenient too. My son has a county chorus concert tomorrow evening, 40 minutes away ... They leave the school at about 7am and don't get a ride home so if it gets bad out, I'll be driving super slow and terrified lol
FIVE TO NINE INCHES???
FIVE TO NINE INCHES?!?!?!?! I’M GONNA SMUSH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!:rant:mad::rant

hey..real sorry about the 'snow-juju"...not my fault! Honest..!
"They" say it is gonna warm up into the high 30's...40ishes....so....now we will just have.... mud:D

Just now seeing this...so sorry for your loss, sincerely.

totally agree!

When? I only saw more cold and snow for ten days.
well...that was at about 11pm last night...They did get the snow amounts pretty close though, said we were going to get at least 6inches..well, we got a heck of a LOT more than that!...central penn was getting larger amounts of snow, along with a swath across lower-eastern penn..ie: Lancaster co. area. ..
All of this depended on the temps..guess they were favorable for snow

Hope it does "warm " a bit...slow melt would be nice, but then..the idea of winning the lotto sounds nice too:p...
we are in for a mess whether it melts or stays...
The temps outside are "warmer" right now than earlier..i say this lightly though, it is still cold, but under the snow it is already melting...at least it is here. Hope we do not get any ice/freezing rain accumulations on top of heavy snow.
I hope everyone is warm and safe right now.

My hubby had to pick up the girls from school on his way home from work. They stoped all bus transportation. So the girls and hubby got home aroun 5:00pm. He said roads were really bad. He was thankful his 4x4 works great in his truck. I am thankful my family is all at home.
so glad to hear they are home.
