If I didn’t say, I’m trying the crockpot pie with apple or pumpkin soon. Just think, no pumpkin filling spilling on the way to the oven, or while baking. It will be great!

Duckling wasn’t here when Baby the duckling was born. I finally remembered that she didn’t know this morning, and sent her out to give them water. She was happy to watch him (ohhh, I hope it’s a girl!) running around.

Aretha and Baby went for a stroll. I was just finishing up giving them water when they came back. Baby has a shallow dish (still deep enough for a duckling) so he can easily drink. Well, apparently he’s learned a new skill. He jumped right into the big dish, and stood on the ice still in the center. I wish I had taken a picture.
