Looking forward to more white stuff than wet stuff myself.... at least snow makes landscape look clean and pretty, even if it is cold. Rain just makes everything brown and muddy this time of year and winter flooding is nasty to deal with!
So I second Little Miss Purdy, let the snow win out!
:yesss:, was thinking maybe noone was talking because they are not snow lovers????
hahaha...stay safe on the roads. There is a very pretty coating on everything already.

It's very pretty out this morning. There's a light coating of snow on every branch everywhere, looking like powdered sugar everywhere. The kids were disappointed the wasn't a delay this morning but there's nowhere near enough snow for that. Everyone be careful if you're out later. I guess it's supposed to get nasty tonight.

@fisherlady how are those chicks doing? I'm really liking the way the Olive egger pullets are turning out with their coloring and crests :)

If it has to be cold, it might as well snow and be pretty--although my horrified hens disagree. I hate grey cold rain and mud. I give a no-mess mix of sunflower as scratch and the juncos found a way into my netted in (actually deer fencing) run ---they are welcome!

I suppose, but 2’ by next weekend is a bit much.

Just dropped a kid off at children's hospital in Pittsburgh and heading back to station in northern indiana county. Everything is snow covered but very little snow still falling down near Pittsburgh at the moment, will probably be a lot more of the white stuff further north. Looking forward to 0700!

I-99 was not pretty this morning. It took me 1 hour 20 minutes to drive from Altoona to State College, which usually just 45 min drive. My car was slipping on the road. The local roads were even worse. :barnie Of course, less than half of my colleagues made to work today. I can do very limited things without helpers. Why I even bother to go to work?
