Well looks like the fox got my male duck. Grrrrrrrr. I have been outside off amd on all day looking oit the windows and doors. Not once did the chxikens or ducks look scared like they did yesterday when it was around.

Happy 4th everyone! We have either been working or fishing since weather finally settled. Chicken coops haven't been very eventful (thankfully!) We have 5 with chicks of varying ages and 2 still sitting and waiting for chicks of their own.

We have been filling freezers with walleye and added 24 more today to his nephew's freezer. Couldn't ask for nicer way to spend the holiday. I will add a few pics from my phone later.

Good catfish is hard to beat, walleye is a bit larger flakes and milder flavor. Sounds funny to say it but walleye isn't 'fishy' at all if treated right. Incredible eating fish.
