Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I’m missing a Pekin. I keep thinking she’s just playing in a puddle somewhere though. Ducks are quite big and heavy, not to mention strong, and hard to take away without a mess.

Hi All! I’m moving back to south central Pennsylvania next week. To York county and I’m looking to see if anyone can foster my 3 silkie Roos for about 4 months. I got a job I couldn’t refuse but hubby is staying in Arizona until our son graduates in October. Two of them are 2 and the other almost a yr old. I’m staying with my other son and can keep the girls and babies but not the Roos.

Thx

So guess what Mindy is doing today...

Well, separate boxes didnt last long... by early afternoon the hens got out, ate, drank and stretched their legs... then were back into the same box. Now I am getting the double broody glare.

I have something similar going on right now. My showgirl out 4 Silkie x silkie feathered ameraucana chicks and has been happily mothering them. My little Serama hen has been sitting for quite a while but her eggs all failed so she finally abandoned her nest and joined the showgirl. I'm wondering when the orpington that's sitting on duds will give up now...
