Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Hmmm, I think Rory may be trying to go broody. Bad timing because if I'd let her start today, we'd be in CA on hatch day. I hope I can put her off for a week. Don't want to break her of it, just post pone it. Also, time to collect a good amount for her to set.

Hello everyone! May I join the fun? I am moving to PA from Wyoming, thus am hoping to gain information about chicken keeping in the east! I had to sell my flock back in WY because they couldn't come with:( but I'm hoping to get new birds next spring:jumpy.

Welcome from Cambria county! What area of PA did you/are you moving to? Every spring, I hatch o out multiple chicks and turkeys and sometimes ducks. If your moving closer to the Eastern side of the state, @dheltzel is your chick, go to man :) He hatches more than any of us can really ever dream about!

I was raised on Dr Seuss & would call that my Religion but 5 years of Chickens has only solidified those beliefs.
I was not dreaming or imagining it this morning when Nugget in the middle of jabbering to try getting me out of bed said "Rick".
So I got up opened the window then went to try to find a treat. Before I got back with a slice of cheese she jumped out the the window but left a treat for me.

Welcome from Kennett Square --also about an hour from Philly!
I also suggest Dennis as a source of any feathery friend you may need to obtain!
