I heard the SE is getting hit hard with the rain, sorry to hear it is messing with gardens, and much worse.... hope it settles into more 'normal' soon. Somewhere between flood and drought would be nice for a change.

awwwww. We will be going down that road (hopefully in a long time from now) with Jada. She's 11 now and somewhat shakey on her feet. Still loves her walkies but huffs and puffs the last half mile of a .8 mile walk on level surface. But she does get into the wrestling matches with Fenris and Boudicca about once a day. Your boy was a very Good Boy.

Hi All! I’m moving back to south central Pennsylvania next week. To York county and I’m looking to see if anyone can foster my 3 silkie Roos for about 4 months. I got a job I couldn’t refuse but hubby is staying in Arizona until our son graduates in October. Two of them are 2 and the other almost a yr old. I’m staying with my other son and can keep the girls and babies but not the Roos.

Thx
We had to put our 12 1/2 year old dog down today. He looked fine but his mind and insides was going. I had our vet come to the house. He did not fight the meds.
I am so sorry.
I know too well how hard it is.

I'm so sorry :( I feel your pain. Pets are such a blessing but they always break our hearts in the end. We lost our husky a little over 2 years ago. She was 12 1/2 also. Then we had to put our old terrier mix down last fall at almost 15 years old. He couldn't get to his feet anymore and stopped eating. Then finally, this sitting, our bulldog mix just laid down and died on us out the blue. She was only 6 and she hurt the most at least with the others, we knew it was coming. It's so hard and the tears are there just thinking about it. Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss :(

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
