I don't think I posted thismorning. If I did, I am telling you again! Ten minutes for any chickens to come out of the coop. Two were sitting on the roost looking at the sand, and the door. Not wanting to risk it. Most flew from the side coop, out the door. Not that they don't usually fly out in the morning. But they are usually out like bullets when the door opens. Tonight everyone was on the roosts. I am loving the poop scooping. Even those wet, icky ones scoop up easily. My only complaint is that this sand is fresh, and still moist. I am adding a little every day. It not only allows the sand to dry better, but it saves my aching back! DH kept promising to get me a new wheelbarrow when he made the doors so narrow. Getting the sand in the coop is a slow and frustrating chore. It is SO worth it, though!!
