Mindy and Dillon aren't in puppy prison, they are just helping model a crate I just bought from FB marketplace.
And yes, Hobo wanted to go with us for a truck ride because his dogs were going. He does NOT like being left behind!

so my first pic post this morning I manually entered each, the pictures were sort of big but at least complete....the second I did the 'add multiple' option.... yes quicker, but cut off tops of the pictures. ya can't win.

If you click on them you can see them completely :) Hobo cracks me up! He's just like our Coco... she wants to go anywhere her S'mores goes lol

Hobo is truly a reformed hobo! Last year a feral stray around the camp ground who took a month of coaxing before I could even touch him to now being a clingy tag-a-long who rarely lets us out of his sight to the extent that he follows us on our walks and climbs into the vehicle because he doesn't want us taking his dogs away. He either sleeps on our bed or his bed which is on top of Jenibelle's crate. Only 2nd cat I've ever known (out of a LOT of cats) to actually show separation anxiety.

Update on my first broody hatch. 6 out of 7 eggs hatched live silkie chicks, one was still unzipping this evening as the hens went to sleep (day 26!!!). My broody sort of gave up on that last one so I carried it around for while and then slipped the half unzipped chick under her when she went to sleep.

This one was gold, I am getting eggs from both colors, but I have only 2 gold pullets and 5 chamois, so I'm now getting more eggs from the chamois. They are all looking good, but they seem a bit more flighty than I am used to with "ornamental" chickens.
I am going to ship a lot of the chicks to Sand Hill, but will have some to grow out and sell pullets later. AFAIK, no one else in the area has the gold and chamois. Not sure how popular they will be.
Wow I thought you had given up on the Spitzhaubens!! is this the Chamois

I didn't realize you had spitzhaubens :) I ordered some silver spangled hatching eggs but they were delayed in shipping. I ordered them Sunday from Rhode Island and they're just now finally out for delivery :/ I hope they're in good condition but this long in shipping, I have very little hope for them hatching at this point. They were even supposedly expidited.
