Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Once upon a time (I may have still been living in New Jersey) I saw a news report about all the colored chicks being removed from a pet store, and the owner being arrested because they had been warned before. Dyeing chicks for sale is illegal. Like Joe Camel, who was "tempting" kids to smoke, the dyed chicks made people buy farm animals that they knew nothing about, and discarded in the streets when they got older. Come to think of it, it may have been around the same time everyone had a pet alligator (Do not tell me I am

At least some of you have to remember the 80's and 90's!!).
So, my question is; Is there a law in the state of PA on dyeing chicks for sale? Just curious because someone on here made me think of it.
Edited to say that this idiot just bothered to search the Internet, and there is a nation wide law against it. It is still done, but so are drugs.

Not sure about colored chicks in pa, it's been along time since I seen them being sold like that.

You have to admit they are adorable. But I would not pick the green ones.
Now that I know more about chickens, I know that my practical side wants to see their natural color. Who can resist the mahogany color of a RIR chick? SOOO cute!!!

Like back in three day when we took pocket knives to school;, or shotguns were in the trunk so we could go hunting after school? Walking 5 miles through the snow, uphill both ways to school in July? No, I'd never say those things!

Chad, I have a LG, you may use, not the greatest of the small ones but you are welcome to use. Have the Turner, too. If you want new, local TSC them @ $40 for Bator, $40 for Turner at the moment. (Mount Joy)
