They do. I think RoPo took the only ones that didn't. I was so disappointed!! I had hoped they were going to be a good foundation for me. Oh well, these things happen, right? I do have a nice little quad of partridge coming after the 1st.

It is a Disqualification (the dreaded DQ) in all breeds when showing.

ETA: split wing is a gap between the primary and secondary feathers.

Can I ask who you ordered cochin eggs from? I ask because I know the person I got mine from had 4 doz listed.

While I am not QUITE as bad as you, I currently have 40 eggs in the bator and another dozen coming next week.... NO idea where I am going to house them all winter.... LOL!

Sorry...terrified of hatching......you all made it sound fun....but I'm convinced I'm going to a. have a bator full of duds. b. cook all the babies or c. have WAY too many chicks in my brooder!
