I dont get it Ray its day 18 lockdown and again I have Maran shaking the eggs, expect pips anytime now, and not a single movement out of those serama eggs also on day 18!!! weird!!!!

I am uploading my candle of my duck eggs!!! I didnt know I should be cooling and misting them????

perhaps your temp was on the higher side and they developed more quickly, can still take them a day or so,,, hope they make it out on their own,,,best of luck with them,,, keep me updated,,,, still interested !

Not that I'm aware of...nothing definite anyway,,,although sometimes there are definite differences in comb sizes even at birth,

BCM and Cuckoo crosses are sexlinks but not pure colors,that I'm aware

often times the little roos develop their combs very early, i can often tell at a week or two,,,,depends on the line of breeding most likely,,,, my one Roo has a very large comb and waddles,,,, seems to make distinct differences in the young

gonna go have another look.... do they rock before they even do an inner pip? wondering I never seen them rock before a pip... never really looked though! lol
