~ Hatched ~

I hatched a little fluff ball
as cute as can be,
I held her, I loved her,
And let her sleep with me!

She was such a little sweetie,
when she came running to me,
Oh, how swiftly she has grown,
She was as cute as can be!

Then one morning
unbeknownst to me,
My little darling came running,
But OH NO, She was now a He!

I miss those snuggle mornings,
but alas it was not to be,
Now I have a BIG boy,
just to CROW with me!

Not sure if I should laugh or cry, since all this stuff considered strange foods, was everyday food when i grew up.
i have noticed that what we ate growing up because it was cheap is no longer the cheaper foods, Chad you are right there's nothing like a good plate of liver andd onions fried in real butter with it's own pan gravy to go with it, kind of pricey now though.
i do remember times when money was scarce and supper was whatever could be found outside the backdoor, ate many onion sandwiches only difference was my grandmother would of never bought bread, not sure she even knew you could buy it.

I should shut up now before people realize i am not really 29.
