suckass morning trying to unfreeze waterers?? I was bitching, I asked DH when he ran electric for the lights to add a outlet in each coop so I could make those tin or cement water heaters but NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
They make a ceramic thing that threads into the light socket... it has a light socket and a plug at the base of it... so you can 'create' an outlet anywhere there is power to a standard lightbulb. it may give you the reach you need to do your water heaters.
I was going to let everyone out of the coops but decided to let them inside for the day and threw crack all over in the pens and coops.... I only got 3 eggs BRATS!! A little cold and they go all stubborn on me!!!
Last time I opened the pop doors when it was really cold they stepped over, looked out, then turned and looked at me as if to say.... 'you are kidding, seriously??? you want us to do what??'.... and they didn't go out anyway. So today the doors stay shut and they get scratch thrown in their coop.
ohhhh and last night I went to turn eggs in the bator and to my surprise DH threw another silkie egg in there, so BOTH may be laying or I coulda missed the first one till the next am??? IDK but he marked it and dated and timed the sucker!!! Did I mention he also considers the Silkies his????? YUP! plus for me!!! lol
Yes!!! It is so cool when the SO/DH is involved also... makes it fun (and more expensive when no one knows how to say no!!!! LOL)
