sally tell how to prep it for tanning
We have used the borax to aid in drying the meat/fat that sticks to the underside of the skin. It basically just pulls moisture out and allows for easier scraping. It may dry the skin some, but isn't the true 'tanning'. I have never done a full tanning process, just skinning, short term preserving thing. They do sell kits though for tanning at many outdoor stores and possibly your local feed mill or hunting supplier.Wait… what? He's out there in his team jacket…. DANG!

Define 'close to you'. My zip is 19375. I would like Comets.
I have propane heat. 3 years ago we spent $6000 to heat our house for the winter. Hubby went and got us a wood stove. Now I just have to feed the stove and make sure the fire doesn't go out. Keeping warm is so expensive![]()
