ours don't, jackie, our little buckskin, we bought as a five month old thru a auction, she started nipping, but we popped her everytime and told her no, she soon learned, our little stallion, when we got him, he must have been abused, hes so head shy that when trying to trim a bridle path, will rear and keep it up, he doesn't like to have his head touched, but, the point i'm trying to make, hes a stallion but a little gentleman, the other little mare is a lady, nothing bad with her either, just jackie is the little holigan, love them all three
