This is the welsummer that I posted before and we thought could end up being a roo. Still think roo?


Any idea on what breed? Came from a green/blue egg. Any signs of roo v. hen?


3 week old blue copper maran - friendly as can be. My daughter will brush the hair on her feet and she will coo! Any signs of hen or roo?

#1 Roo based on comb. #3 I'd say based on the sparse feathering and lack of tail Roo.

as much as I hate snow, this could be worth checking into......
you know how many chickens I could put on 175 acres..

You'd waste your days putting tiny snowshoes on all your chickens, and not get anything else done. If snow wasn't so irritating, NY is the place to buy a farm.
