Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

well he came to the right place,,
good questions chad....need to add a few more....
can you build coops or do you buy prebuilt?
how far will you travel for a chicken ?
do you have other animals besides chicken?
can you butcher your own livestock ?

now age would be unimportant if these questions had the right answers....
Bruce is single too. We need to start a chicken dating thread. Maybe tonight after I get home from work and we can help single poultry owners and lovers of such together.

Kinda thinking it was more a singles ad. As in SWM with chickens ISO SWF that loves and or has poultry. Ages range ?-? Must enjoy cleaning coops and long walks through tractor supply.

Love the TSC walks!!!

Its pretty much finished. I would just like to even out the stones a little bit more.

What it looks like from outside the pen. That black lump is the dirt I was going to use.... but its frozen solid!!!!! -.-
The pile of "stuff" thats seen on the left is the supplies for the next pen :D Going to be about 24-28 feet long by about 16 feet wide. The front will be used for the tractors the back for the ducks.

The pheasants new dust bath! Made from play sand and DE. I caught them using it this morning haha!

Added some accents to the pampas grass.
Very nice use of 6x6 and 6x9 pavers as accents.

Hi, are there any single chicken ladies here in Pennsylvania?
Hello! Welcome to the PA Unite thread... pull up a chair and go back about 3 or 4 hundred pages... should either convince you that you want to stay or scare you away!! LOL

Lots of great, helpful folks on here, give a should out if you have any questions and if you already have birds let us know what you have so we can help you with aquiring more!

Oh, and will ask my grandmother and the rest fo my family about what you are talking about. Will also ask my friends. Someone is bound to know what it is and how to make it.
Thank you so much for helping me with this!
Today we picked up some scrap vinyl flooring for my coop and moved all 30 girls out there. The younger ones are still in 2 dog crates while the 6 weekers are not. 2 heat lamps. Hopefully every one is snug as a bug tonight. When I went out to check after dinner, 2 rogue chickens were cuddled up in the corner farthest from the lamps. I don't remember who suggested putting a porch or deck on the coop, but we do have plans to do this soon. Probably 4x6 or 4x8. Still lots of work to do, but I am excited to have my bathroom back!
I have black and white check flooring for my coop...maybe once it gets nice and warm, I'll completely empty the coop and get it laid! It's 12x12.
Wing, I believe the bantams should hatch on schedule :) Keep us updated on them and the Call's progress! I nabbed a 16' x 5' coop for free today! The thing is a MONSTER! it's split in half in the middle with chicken wire (I'll replace it with plywood) an has two chicken doors on either end. If that wasn't Score enough, I also got 8 12' kennel panels (2 door panels included) for a hundred bucks! It's been a good day!
That's awesome!
I believe I said in an earlier post that our Good Friday was a very good Friday! Well after 10+ yrs we made it official.... Radioman is now my DH instead of my SO... (the 'fiance' stage was only a few weeks, so kinda skipped that step! LOL)
Awesome!!!! How'd you get an official on Good Friday? We'd wanted to do it then, but were told the county was closed, therefore the DJ was too :( So our's is Monday.
Thank you all!! We are very happy to finally make it official! Now I need to change my name on about 20 or 30 different titles and accounts!! :barnie It's going to be a nightmare contacting everyone for paperwork on that! We started making a list today and geesh!! :th I just hope PennDot doesn't charge 'per paper' or this is going to be a real pain!
There's lists on Pinterest that list things you'd never think of.
