Just for curiosity sake..what would happen if they were a 'couple' days old, could you still give it to them? I ask because I don't know...I have access to a animal supply place, I could get it to them in the 'day-old' time frame...just curious as to why it has to be that way.Yes, it has to be administered to day old chicks. careful of using newspaper in a brooder ,,,,it can be slippery and cause spraddle leg in chicks...if you have any other bedding, you would be better to use that and cover with paper towels for the first couple days.
