Would you guys eat eggs that are under 24 hours incubated? I just checked the broody. I don't have the energy to go back out now to take her eggs. I just don't want more chicks right now. I have "too many " now!

Here is the little girl that we have been fortunate enough to save...
Chick-a-dee..

She looks alot different then these pics here...she is taller, and her feet are more black. Funny how fast and how MUCH they change. I will get some pics today..She has a great personality, very sweet and loves to be held . Hope Everyone is having a good day-Danielle

YES....if you were to gather eggs in the summer once a day, it would be the same amount of time....I hate to put this out there but production houses only gather and pack daily most of the time and those houses are a lot hotter than any we would have.....

the most you would find is maybe a blood spot..

...., anyway, just took Chick-A out to "play"...here are some more pics!! hahhaa..Thank you for your patients....and enabling!!

she is 7 weeks and 2 days...looking pretty good for the rough start..

Getting to know the 'big girls"...safely. She has a way to go before she can be in that run.

This is the little area I made off the big-run for her to enjoy the outdoors, exercise and "play" with the others.

Everything gets moved once a week and gets 'cleaned/picked-up" every day.... I know a bunch of you have Marans, if there are any tips for them especially, I would be greatly appreciative to hear them. I am very new to them, She is my first and only one right now, I have Wyandottes. Okay, I am done for today. Thank you again!!
