Wow! Thanks for sharing! Beautiful bird, great job. I especially liked the pic of her feet sticking out of the pot, very cool.I processed Thanksgiving (yes, that was her name) today. Had to improvise on a scalder since there was no way she was going to fit in the pan I use for broilers. (Yes, I scrubbed & bleached my "scalder" before & after. If you are squeamish please skip over my pix. I left out the "guts" part but there is still some blood in a few pix.

I was lucky enough to meet Chiqueschicks turkey's, I can definitely see myself getting attached. I especially love the noise they make.
THESE are the ones I get attached to. My trio of royal palms & trio of blue slates (the tom didn't make it into this pic). Thanksgiving was a broad breasted white that we raised out specifically for this year's dinner. We only call food by food related names. Helps us remember not to get attached.
