Oh wow! That white guy is gorgeous! And, yes, the Seramas are adorable. I'm a bit leery of anything Bantam though as they all seem to be so loud and outspoken. I know our little Sebright hens sound like a cross between an African Grey Parrot and a miniature Velociraptor all day long. I know our neighbors, at least a specific one, would NOT be happy listening to little Bantams crowing. Though most of us around here, me included think they're adorable. It's a shame how the one single person among a whole patch full of people gets their way because they DON'T like something. Instead of majority rules.

Sally, your white CCL is a pretty boy but, is your young CCL covering any of your birds?

I am not a computer specialist ---that is for sure........however there are many website building sites that are very user friendly for the average person where you don't have to learn HTLM .

For example---if you use Verizon for you email they include a website in their package and have a step by step process that guides you thru the set up

Google has web sites you can build.

Many web site building sites have fees and you just have to compare the details..........does it allow separate email addresses, how many pages, what special advertising features.......I cant remember all the features---------and you can look of reviews of website building sites as well..........

You don't have to pay a lot of money for an expert , unless you really want that level of expertise........... I would recommend that you look into this a bit first. Especially since a free website building option may be part of a service you are already paying for.........internet provider or email provider......
Thanks for the info Sally might find this helpful!! We have our site set up for the pups....I was talking about my Parents township not having a website....Huntingdon Counties website is a little behind!!!

Back from the Farm Show. Tired, but it was nice. There were a lot of pretty birds there, I hope anyone that can will make it out there this week.

I was there! I didn't get to see all that I wanted to. I'm going to try to head back on Thursday to see more.

Nice buff Orpington cockerel was Best English and Reserve Champion, saw some real pretty white leghorns and beautiful Bantam Coxhins.

Sally that White CCL Sport is Gorgeous!!

I had 2 coops out today and 2 coops in, it was 1 degree when I was watering this morning and those birds were out. They did not look too happy, but they were all out, so far no I'll effects. I do not do the Vaseline thing on the combs even my Marans boy who's got a pretty big comb and he's been fine. I did see some combs with frost bite at the show today.

will have to keep my big bin of mealworms going,,,cause I am not gonna be the one to walk into the big layer pen and tell them girls they can not have anymore mealworms,,,or as my daughter calls them, chicken crack...

will take a better inventory later in the week, but over all I only seen a couple small black spots on combs... I do have one rooster looking rough but he was not in top shape before the cold

Ray, how are the swedish flower boys doing,,,they have the big floppy combs, don't they??

Just standard single. I've got lots of black spots on combs, I think. Orpingtons seem to be worse. I had some last year, too. Ugly, but survived. I have lots of spares, never got to process any, so I'll be fine.
Taking care of neighbors ducks for a few days. They don't seem to care about the cold. Two got put today, my fault. I'm glad nobody saw me chasing those buggers through the snow.

I raise 7 types of pheasants 150 in all. I also have ducks geese peacocks and some huge Flemish giant rabbits { 37 lbs.} My wife would love to have some button quail in our house for her to baby. She is great with all my birds and I would love to make this happen for her. My problem is no-one has heard of button quail here in northern Wisconsin. If any-one can help me find 15 to 20 it would be fantastic. I have already built the correct cage to house them and have done a lot of research as to food and care. please contact me with any ideas. thanks....carver. p.s. I chainsaw cut wooden bears for a hobby. contact Greg at 9205597479
