Sorry, I no longer have leghorn, just a note of caution though. When I was breeding white leghorn I found that they are a breed that does not travel well, neither eggs or chicks...
Thanks for the heads up... I would just get chicks for the hens but no where close enough to pick them up and I don't think they would travel well in mid-summer. With so many folks having them in their back yards I was hoping someone knew a neighbor with them somewhere... LOL...

I do remember transporting someone on the ambulance a couple of years ago that I think said they had WLHs... I had totally forgotten about them. Your comment on travelling jogged my memory about them.... I'll have to make a run out to where he lives and see if he still has them and if he has any roosters or just the hens for eggs!

You'll get black, blue and silver. You know you want them...
She would love them!!! Silver is hard to pass up! .... you need to post up a cute picture of them... that will finish her off!

I drive to Erie almost weekly from mid state area.... google Glen Campbell and you are within a few miles of me.... I have no trouble making a trip partly or the whole way to Harrisburg area if need be...

Depending on my work schedule they may need to stay with me for a few days before we head to Erie on a weekend... other than a 10x20 dog kennel and a tub of water to play in would they need much else? I do have a few plastic dog houses also they could overnight in...
