Need to ask for help, If you know me then you know how hard that is.

Husband changed jobs and works 6 days a week, his only day off is Sunday and we are in a Mennonite area so working on a Sunday is a no no..

I have about 12 roosters that need processed and a pen of 50 meat birds that need done within 2 weeks... I really can not get everything done alone and need help, I do not want to push the husband for help, he is on mandatory 10 hour days for all 6 of them till Feb...

If anyone can lend a Saturday hand I would send you home with meat ( chicken, rabbit, duck, quail, turkey) or straw bales or something....
......head hung in shame.....never thought it would be this hard to ask for help and admit that I can not do it all..


Gonna be a long cold winter.

This Saturday we will be processing our turkeys and some extra roos. If the weather holds out. Last Saturday was a washout, too much rain. If I don't sell my flock of Narragansett turkeys, they will be going to freezer camp as well.

Just found out the schools will be closed tomorrow. That armed guy that shot and killed the state police lives around here and hasn't been caught yet. This is scary.

hi bgirl. i know this is late but haven't been on lately. you do not live far from me so be careful. he may still be in the area. went past dunmore today and saw the troopers at the cemetery. so sad. my brother in law is a cop and knew the officer.

I'm in Stroudsburg...just joined here last week. We must be pretty close if you're dealing with the lockdown too.

I'd love to get to know some chicken-minded people close to me!

Our schools were closed again today. I am glad they are taking this seriously and putting the children's safety first. The police don't know where he is and he can be living anywhere. It's scary. He went to my son's school and he it was reported that he wants to do mass killings.

My heart breaks for the families affected by this sensless act of violence. I hope they get this guy soon before anymore inoscent people are hurt and/or killed. You never think that something like this can happen in your own backyard.

so true. no place is safe anymore. the north pocono district wasn't closed but they kept the kids in.
