Funny story. My regular customers for eggs didn't get intouch with me last week so I posted my eggs for sale on Facebook. WIthin 3 minutes all were spoken for!
The one customer said I will take them all, I thought you said you wouldn't have any more eggs. The last time she ordered I told her the chickens are slowing down and I wouldn't be able to have big orders over the winter. I explained to her about molt and the decrease in day light hours meant less eggs.
The customer said that she is so happy to get the eggs because she ran out and had to buy regular store bought eggs and her son refused to eat them. He took a bite out of his egg sandwich and spit it out saying it was horrible and he wanted the fresh eggs. She didn't tell him that they were store bought eggs but he tasted the difference.
She got home and told her son she had real eggs again and he was so happy he wanted an egg sandwich for dinner. She texted me how happy her son was to have real eggs again! Sounds like I have a happy customer.
