been a while since I have had time to sit in front of a computer.....but I was going to make a decision on adding a new breed. been researching them both, in love with them both, but the decision is only one of them. any discussions, comments, preferances, concerns, or how to make the final choice between the two......PENEDESENCA OR FAYOUMI

This is open to anyone, but those of you in the Southeast are closest. This is a farm day from the lady in Media who adopted my Silkie Roo. Looking forward to seeing him in his happy new home. They have alpacas, peafowl, chickens, pigs, emu, etc. I will be there!

So I'm waaaay behind here, looks like I missed this fun farm day right in Media no less (Everybody's Home Town).

I'm not gonna lie, this week has sucked. Found out the birds in my quarantine pen have MG, I had chicks hatching from that coops and needed to cull the chicks and the actively hatching eggs. -Cause that's why I signed up for this whole poultry thing....so I can be a chick killer.

Apparently there is a way to hatch eggs out of infected birds by giving the eggs a 'Tylan Ice Bath', looks complicated and a real PIA, but my son loves these birds and wants to move forward with their line. We haven't even recovered from last year's Mycobacterium, seriously with this?...
