Quote: with the price increase at the store, I am sold out most days...If you can set something up and direct traffic your way, I bet you could sell lots..
I also have a lot of people asking about produce this summer, not sure what is going on, maybe they are tired of the outrages prices at the store or just getting smarter about the chemical use at the store.

Incubator cleaning question.
I'm thinking hydrogen peroxide would make a good quick sanitizer for an incubator. Byproducts are oxygen and water. Fast acting for quick turnaround.
Downsides anyone?

I was considering buying a gallon of Oxine for sanitizing the incubator parts. It seems very safe and more effective than the alternatives. I have used Tektrol and it smells a lot. Kind of expensive also and probably residue is dangerous to chicks if they get too much.

I wish people would buy my duck eggs. Sorry, past tense. We had over 7 dozen eggs (and we do eat them) when I finally decided to sell the ducks, again, because their eggs were unwanted. I was getting 4-5 eggs a day from 5 girls and we couldn't eat that many.

I use Oxine AH (not activated), bleach and/or disinfectant wipes. No Oxine if I use bleach, obviously. My incubator only gets one cleaning a year - when I'm done hatching.

Eggs are not my issue. I'm so fortunate my nephew's family goes through about 3 dozen a week and my brother probably two. At least they get used. If I find a used mini fridge real cheap, I may start selling them

If you're close to a college that's still in session, the seniors that are leaving and some underclassmen with no way to get them home will oftentimes have mini fridges for cheap or free
