Dennis, when I have another broody, can I get another 2 or 4 BBS? I was gonna keep this one. Dammit.
Sure, whenever you are back in the area, or know someone making the trip anyway.

started a new part time job at a local grocery store. meat department of all places...
I can not believe the trimmings that go in the trash....i could feed myself off of what gets thrown away daily...
I glued it down and caulked (sp?) The back and sides against the walls. Works great and when I scrub them down, I just slather the water all over them without fear of it dripping down through the wood.

we have an unexpected baby staying with us now for a few days (until she's big enough to fly away). We found her in the yard yesterday, weak and scared. She has a whole bunch of pin feathers that aren't completely grown in yet and there's no way she's ready to fly. We found a giant pin feather on the ground beside her so either her next was attacked by a predator or the high winds and rains knocked her out. The kids have been hunting worms for her nonstop and she's been opening her mouth real big for food constantly lol (she loves chick starter). I've also been giving her water with save a chick electrolytes. She's really peeked up since yesterday. Unfortunately, we found one of her siblings in the yard today, dead.
