Hi I'm in Chester county and the first time I tried hatching chicks I did it in the winter so I got 3 males they are bantam black Cochin roo crossed with a silver sebright hen if anybody would want one I could deliver within Chester county not for food I would eat them but there to small and I kind of like them if anybody wants one I may be willing to give them up if one person wants I could give them a pair I also hatched one female she looks like a Cochin hen really close they are very protective and mean not lap chickens but good hen protectors best if go to home with no other rooster

for sure. When I see it coming, I get my wash done and showered as we don't know when we'll have power again. DH is not in favor of me showering during a storm, says it's dangerous. Do you all agree? Or do you think he prefers me stinky?
and yeah I was always told not to take a shower during a storm...LOL...or get on the phone (back in they day with land lines)...I just take a really really fast one!!! LOL
I too have heard not to shower during a storm.
