I don't know the answer to your question since I never targeted for sex links... I will try to get a pic of a male and female side by side at their age for reference, but it won't be till later today.

Those hawks are out in full force. I saw it nab one of my chicks today. Thankfully it got one of the roosters.

Sorry you lost one...I am so thankful we have lots of trees, it helps give them overhead protection.
