I'd love to have Tucker, just no idea how to get him here, I am in Washington Co.

Maybe the next time the chicken train runs through, he can catch a ride to you. It'll be at least a month or two until he'll be ready to go but he's such a sweet heart, I'd rather find him a place where he can enjoy life and not live scared all the time than end up in the freezer.

Ok I need some help.....PLEASE. I'm in Elmhurst pa and I cannot find anything online about the ordinance in my area about byc. I would really like to find out, I'm trying to get started in the chicken world and I have 3 acres to do it on. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not saying you should do this, but chickens are not allowed in my suburban town. I asked all of my surrounding neighbors if they would mind if I had them. No one minded so long as I didn't have a Roo or 87 chickens. So I took my chances and I love having my chickens! Up to 8 so far, and definitely won't get anymore until I have more property.

My chicken girl still seems sickly, all floofy and not eating much. But, when I try to catch her to bring her inside, I can't catch her. I guess she feels okay enough? I will try to catch her again tomorrow to bring her in for some TLC.

Contact the code enforcement officer or whom ever is in charge of enforcing ordinances for your township and ask them.

I agree, if they can't quote the exact ruling they can certainly refer you to a source for accurate information . you could also go straight to your local boro or township office and speak to the secretary, they can also assist.

Does anyone have the link to the poop page? My sick girl has yellowish runny poop, I know this is not a good sign. I brought her in the house and she is just standing around. If there's treatment I can give, I'd sure like to. Thanks.

WARNING! Graphic picture!

Okay, so pretty sure she has Blackhead. She is lethargic, not eating, yellowish runny poop, and she just made this big nasty cheese like poop. I brought her in the house, and she is not moving much in the crate at all. Not showing any interest in food, but she wa drinking this morning.
