Cornish cross outgrow leghorns at about a 7:1 rate, for the first week or two it is possible but after that I would worry about leghorn chicks being crushed.
As adults they could be, but generally cx create such a mess that I prefer having them somewhere easy to clean. Cx also don't deal well with steep ramps and high roosts, so keep that in mind.

Has anyone made any homemade eggnog yet? Most of the recipes are the same except for the type of alcohol.Have tried the light rum but am still waiting to try the Brandy,Dark Rum,and Burbon in it yet.

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in. I'm playing hooky today, and should be cleaning my room right now. I lost one of my favorites to a hawk last week. My mommy chicken Penelope that was happy to raise anything you gave her. She raised a duckling for me this fall. If I don't talk to you guys, have a great Thanksgiving!
Sorry for your loss
https://www.backyardchickens.com/content/type/61/id/7174102/"] Sorry to hear you lost your broody....I lost a BL just recently....its never a nice feeling....for me its always the smaller hawks that do the damage, never a redtail or an eagle.... If I don't talk to you guys, have a great Thanksgiving!

Than you....
I am very sorry to hear you lost your little girl. As special as our birds all are there are still a few that have that extra space in our hearts. I am glad you have so many pictures of her and were able to share her with us.
