I don't know where Northampton County is, but if you could drive to Chester Co, I can certainly hook you up with really nice colored egg layers. Maybe a summer vacation to Valley Forge Park is in order - you can tell your family you need to make a quick stop on the way home . . .

Hahaha, You crack me up !!! Love your logic!

I have some gorgeous red sex link crosses for sale. They are 13 months old and lay daily.

This is your prior post....are you buying or selling ???

ISO...hi All...I'm looking to expand my flock and am hoping to purchase pullets who are colored egg layers ( Arucanas, Americanas, Easter eggers, Marans, Australorp or welsummers). I'm in Northampton County. I've not had much luck locally and I guess I can order from my pet chicken but I'd rather try here first. We currently have one white Leghorns and 3 RIR. I'm only looking for 1-2 birds. Thank you so much for reading

I have some wonderful news to share :) Roughly 6 weeks ago, I found one of my silkies in the garage brooder suddenly suffering from crook neck. Her little head would bend down and twist upside down and she could not pick it up. I brought her to my small brooder in the house and for at least 2 weeks, I gave her selenium and vitamin E every day. I even made a neck brace for her out of some old mattress foam we had laying around. I would put it on her during the day and take it off at night. After a few weeks of treatment and no improvement, I was ready to give up on her. She could still eat and drink somehow so I told my husband, when he gets time, to go ahead and put her down. We were super busy and since she was still eating and drinking it wasn't a priority. I stopped bothering with the vitamins but I did put the neck brave on her and just left it on. It's been about 4 weeks since I put that brace on her neck and didn't take it off again. Over the past week or 2, I've noticed that her head has been up....a lot. Today, I finally removed her brace. It's looking like she no longer needs the support :) I'm going to watch her over the next 2 weeks and if she has no issues, she will be moving outside to the main coop with my young polish chicks. I've very excited that she seems to have recovered :)
