Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Hello all! We are situated in our vacation spot and
enjoying it. It was a 5 hour drive though. Whew! It's been a nice break from house shopping though. That has gotten a bit hard emotionally. I know it will work out, but it's strange feeling homeless! :p

Just finished a 5 day treatment for Cocci in the flock (young birds not immune yet) and I'm staring at this wonderful pile of eggs on the counter that we can't eat. I guess Ana and Elsa will get their wishes. I'll be picking out some eggs for each of them tomorrow. No point denying them anymore. But if they fail to hatch any, they're out of luck!

My first egg was a triple yolk!
Very impressive.

Hang in there. House shopping IS incredibly stressful.

Hey there!  Welcome aboard, you've got an incredible 4-H in your county and have the largest Poultry Club in PA ~Lebanon Valley Poultry Fanciers.   I envy you.

used to be??  Ha!

When we all used to sit around on our phones and computers getting drunk. When Chad and I used to sit in our coops drinking with the chickens. When bidding on hatching eggs on eBay especially while drunk became a "Thing"... Those were the fun times!

I am resisting that urge with all my might. All the chickens are running together right now and who knows what kind of crazy mixes would pop out of those eggs lol. (Not to mention I'd be tempting death with hubby)

You can always incubate a few at the same time to provide a few fosters if needed, or maybe we would have a couple more day olds available at the right time! Lol
