Daffodil has her babies out! There was a lot of confusion this morning when she left the nest this morning. She left her babies and went outside lol. I thought she was going to abandon them but i put them out with her and within an hour, they all figured it out. She's doing great as a mama now :)

Looking good! Glad she is figuring it out, they are adorable!

I was happy to see the chicks were under the lilac bush today! :celebrate
They may have been there before, but this is the first I've seen it!
Lmp, that sounds so gross, but a relief too! :hugs to Bug!

Duckling made sugar cookies! Now I know she can handle the Christmas baking!

that is great. They are such awesome helpers! I can't make apple/cherry /peach crisp or any kind of crisp without Bugs help, she just has the magic touch when it comes to making the crumbly topping!
I think it's because she has such a great time getting her fingers in it!

One of Daffodil's babies is in the house at the moment. I have no clue what happened but my son found her away from mama, laying on her side in the coop shed. No injuries that I can see but she may have been pecked on the head hard or something. It seemed like her left leg wouldn't work and her head was twisting back to the left. I think she's going to be ok though. She looked like she was dying when he brought her in. I used an eye dropper and gave her a little water and she seemed to perk up so I gave her some selenium, vitamin E, and a drop of vitamins. She seems to have found her balance now. She's not walking around but she's more alert, sitting on a towel under a heat lamp. Her head is a little wobbly but she's ok. I'll post an update later. Hopefully, she can go back out with mama either this evening or in the morning.

Glad he found her when he did. Hope she continues to improve.

Duckling hates dirty hands.
She can crack eggs on her head, mix the batter, unwrap butter, dump it in once softened, roll it out, cut it out, put it on the pan and add colored sugar.

I will. I did put her back out with her mama since she up on her feet and mama was bedding down for the night. I'll mix up her vitamins and give them to her again in the morning. I've checked on her numerous times and she's staying under her mom. Her neck is turned off to the side but she's still doing ok.
