Well we got another small egg today...how long until the eggs increase in size?

Im starting to feel more and more sure that we have more then one laying...even though we have had 1 egg per day.

Haven't been on in forever, been busy with family and have had a really rough year with predators, I'm planning a 'come back' soon.

Babies got to spend most of the day outside swimming and playing today. The chickens discovered then and really had no clue what they were looking at lol

Those nosy girls! It seems like my turkeys are quite nosy too. Do you see this as well?

Jaebels is still huddled down in her box in the bathtub. Eating well and pooping fine. No discharge from nose. Eyes seem clear. What could be wrong?
No idea, but hope pulls through.

My Cali Gray is still hanging in there too, but I don't know whats wrong. Hoping it's Cocci and the corid will help her kick it.

She could have had a soft tissue injury which when out and about, bruises would cause soreness with moving and general discomfort....look her over under the feathers for any discolored areas.
Otherwise I would continue with the corrid and scrambled eggs, you could have your vet check her droppings for any type of worm load also, since birds are often fine with a moderate level of worms but when stressed that 'normal level' of worms can begin causing them problems.

Keep us updated on your little cali grey. Sometimes it will take a few days of treatment before you can notice a change, just make sure that she's drinking it. Occasionally, if she's not drinking enough on her own, giving an eye dropper full of the treated water a couple times a day will help.

My turkeys can be rather noisy also but it's usualy only when there are steamers around. They don't make too much noise when it's just us but anytime someone or something unfamiliar is here, they carry on like a bunch of nuts and it's hard to hear anything lol.

Those ducklings are one of the cutest things i have ever seen. They're like a puppy...huge feet compared to body size!

Thank you, I agree :) They are rediculous cute! But I just can't believe how big they are for only being 3 weeks old. I guess I imagined ducks to be cute, little things like chickens and to feather in quick, like chickens lol. It's a totally new experience.
