I think I may keep them with the rest of the flock, but make sure that they have lower roosts or a little "bed" to stay in, in the coop. My Banty cochin was a tough little cookie. She always roosted right with the big girls and held her ground. RIP Oddball!
As far as the wetness in winter factor goes, I will play it by ear. If I find they are getting wet, I will keep them in a pen in the garage if need be. Thankfully, even with all of the rain we had a couple of weeks ago, there was no standing water anywhere that I could see. So I'm hoping it won't be a problem, but time will tell.
