This is the "gang of 8". They are a little over a week old, and part of my experiment in taming ducklings. Australian Spotted are supposed to be personable, but the first 3 that hatched I ignored too much and they are wild as can be. These guys are week younger, and they will happily nibble on my fingers and climb on my hand.
You can see all 3 color phases in this pic. Most are the blue heads, with 1 copy of the blue gene, there is one (much darker) green head (no blue genes) and 2 silver heads, the very yellow ones, they have 2 copies of the blue gene that dilutes the colors. Exactly like blue/black/splash in chickens.
