Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

We were outside for several hours. I opened the coop for the birds to free range too. I also wanted them to enjoy the last of the warmth. Meat Loaf never comes out out, and has two hens that mostly stay in with him. Jim on the other hand takes forever to remember how to get back in. :smack
We watched the storm clouds chase away our warmth, and felt a few sprinkles of rain. As soon as I walked down to check food and water before the downpour, they ran inside to see what I was bringing. Well, except Jim. I nudged him in, walked up to Duckling, and the clouds passed.

I really am an idiot. I forgot how telling combs are until yesterday. Not only do I know who has been laying, I know it was in fact an adult that passed away in October. I can’t believe I didn’t think to check comb sizes before. One pullet actually doesn’t have a visible comb yet.
