Ok thanks! We should talk on the phone sometime. I've been doing this nearby for about 10 years and can tell you exactly what sells best. I will try to send you a PM with my phone number.

I don't know of anyplace that has ready to lay pullets. Moyers is booked up for the year, all auctions and markets are shut down in PA for AI. I hope chick sales continue unhindered.Anyone know if there is someplace in Central Bucks County to buy ready to lay pullets.
I think I mentioned here that my Copper Marans pullet pen were eating most of their eggs for a while. Every day, the nesting material was gummed up with the remains of the eggs. I got so frustrated I removed the nest boxes so at least I wouldn't have to keep cleaning them.
That fixed it! Getting lots of very dirty eggs, but not seeing any more evidence of egg eating. Maybe the dark eggs on the dark soil confuse them?
Are you hatching any bantys? Still interested in mottled cochins or frizzled.Just finished setting eggs. Had to start up incubators 4 and 5!
Set 697 chicken eggs and 7 muscovy duck eggs.
This Thursday, I will be putting about 440 eggs into the hatchers, to start hatching a week from today.
The few eggs from the mottled pen have not been fertile. I have about 5 eggs from the lavender pen due to hatch this weekend. Last hatch I had 2, but they did not compete well with the bigger chicks and both died. Are you hatching any bantys? Still interested in mottled cochins or frizzled.
Please tell those mottled cochin boys to get to work. The few eggs from the mottled pen have not been fertile. I have about 5 eggs from the lavender pen due to hatch this weekend. Last hatch I had 2, but they did not compete well with the bigger chicks and both died.
I did not set any bantam eggs last night. The demand is for good laying breeds, and cochins don't measure up.
They don't like to discuss it.Please tell those mottled cochin boys to get to work.
