Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Hey guys I have not posted in here much but I try and keep up.
I just wanted to pop in and let anyone in the southwest Pa area know that I have a 20/wk pullet that I need to get rid of. She is a light bramah I dont really want to get rid of her but I am leaving for a month and my husband will be caring for my chickens. Two days ago I noticed blood in the coop. All of my other chickens are picking on her, they are pulling all of her foot feathers out. If I was not leaving this Thursday I would try and fix this or something but my husband is not up for dealing with issues like this while I am gone.
So if anyone is interested I have her listed on criaglist pittsburgh. I have her up for 20$ but if someone from here wants her we can work something out.

Just thought I would post here as I would rather her go to someone who I know likes chickens enough to hang out on a chicken forum lol

I have heard of it, but have not gone yet. I am going to try and make it this year $10.00 for all 3 days, can't beat that, you can go any day you want, and would still save $$$.
i got something for it thru the internet, natural home and garden, offering weekend passes for $10. if bought thru this offer instead of at the gate for $25.00
seven springs is close by, but from what i understand from friends, seven springs its self isn't cheap

Hey everybody! Just wanted to pop in and say hi... I turned my bator off tonight... none of my eggs were doing anything... either duds or blood rings, of course, i was expecting too much because of the detached air cells but was hoping for one or two...

That stinks. I really hope you try again soon. It is like falling off a horse (of course, you shouldn't be riding the chickens). Get back on, and try again!

Sorry to hear shelbear81, Know how you feel. turning off bator today my self. I only had one quail hatch. Everything else is just lifeless.

Gonna clean it up though and set 42 next week and see what happens.

I am so sorry. Can I ask what kind of incubator you are using? My hatches have been the pits lately, too. I have one on lockdown now and have 2 little pips, so I am hoping that some make it out.

Shelbear, wlrabbitry; soooo sorry about your hatches. HUGS to you both!!

I've got a few hatches going but all under broodies. I do have msladyhawke's bantam wyndottes in my Genesis 1588. I really hope all goes well with her eggs!! We are only on day two, but the kids are counting down on the calendar!

Hi! I'm in Pittsburgh (in the city limits). There are actually several families in my neighborhood with flocks now and we just got our first little flock of fluff balls yesterday. Our house is about the melt from cute overload. We got two buff orpingtons and two australorps. All arrived in great health and seem to be happy and thriving so far.
