That could work, I will get back to you on that one, need to do a little research,,,My meat customers are used to getting birds that dress out at about 7 pounds, usually takes me about 15 weeks to get the typical meat birds to that.
Yeah they are a little slower on growth but ya get a bigger bird eventually and they are supposed to be good for meat and eggs ....
 
My muscovys wander the yard with the chickens...at night the ducklings go in the right side of the garage, while the chickens go in the left (coop side). Duck sometimes goes in with the ducklings and sometimes chooses to play weathervane on the top of the garage. The ducks have taught the chickens to drink from the sled and the duck bucket. ...

I dont have my run covered as I wanted a large one for them, will scovys fly out? I dont want my dogs to eat them either, and I would need to lock them in at night because of in the mnts and critters gettin them. thanks
 
I just sold 4 silkies. It is so hard to let them go, even though it is what needs to be done.

We saw some really nice ones at the swap in Maryland the other weekend and my mom wishes she would've gotten some just the lady only had one hen and the rest were roos so that y she didn't get any. If you were closer im sure i could talk her into some
