Oh it's soooo easy

First you say chickens would never be allowed in bed.

I mean even though you are a crazy chicken lady you clearly know the boundaries. They happily agree and you both casually laugh.

Then three days later you just put Rav in bed with you.

Easy Peasy!

We had beautiful lighting this morning and I got a bunch of great shots of her waking up

Back from vacation and back to reality sadly. Penny will be done with her antibiotics tomorrow. The hope is that now that this has run it's course she will feel better and start eating on her own more.

As of today she will eat the following on her own: (this list is a huge improvement)

Watermelon
Red grapes
Mealworms (this is encouraging as she stopped eating them for awhile)
Superworms
Doing a great job drinking water

It is going to be triple digits here this week which will be tough for her and the flock

The plan is to bring her in and crate her in the ac so I can monitor her eating. I don't care what she eats as long as she is eating it or drinking it herself. We need to get Penny Marshall a little more self reliant again.

Up until know i have been hand feeding her her appropriate grams of food bombs per day- hence the Princess Penny title lol

I know she can do it!

The dream is to get her back on chicken feed- but slow and steady!
