Hi All!
Penny (and the flock) are very excited it is spring. Penny continues with her herbal treatment H29 Herbal Powder and is doing well. I wanted to include the ingredients for this powder that I am getting from her vet for $11 (which lasts me 6 weeks) She is now dosed at 1/8 tsp every other day so this will last me the next 3 months.
Here Penny is relaxing under my Adirondack chair!

She certainly is adorable.
I currently have a small flock (2 have recently passes) and all 3 of them are showing signs. coordination off, head tilt, sitting more than moving, and I jad a rodent problem this past summer. I am going to ask our vet to prescribe the acyclovir, but I would also like to know if you would give me your vets contact information? I would love to speak with her about this encephalitis powder . Thank you for sharing your experience, and I sure hope Penny Marshall continues to do really well. 
Her bloodwork and everything was good. She did have a mass in her intestine though and her crop was not emptying.
