Precious baby Penny. I hate that this day came it makes my heart so heavy to say goodbye to a chicken I never met! Thank you for sharing her with us. I just know she had the best life with you in her little penthouse and spending her evenings watching tv snuggled up on the couch.

I loved getting notifications for this thread. Couldn’t wait to see what our precious little Panini Mar- er, Penni Marshall was up to and what fantastic pictures we would get to see of her.

In all of the fantastic pictures and memories of her, I hope you can find peace and joy and comfort and especially in knowing she is now out of any pain or sickness she was in.

In honor of our special friend Penny, we had some blueberries and watermelon for breakfast today. Even pepper, who hasn’t been feeling well joined in:

To all of Penny's Friends and Besties on BYC and Beyond

I wanted to share with you all some sad news about Penny Marshall.

Penny flew up to the big chicken coop in the sky yesterday. She was surrounded by all that loved and cared for her.

Although it is a sad day around the coop around here, Penny's life and the lives that she touched should be celebrated!

Penny wanted today to be national red grape day in honor of her favorite fruit that gave her such joy even in the end of her little life.
To celebrate please spend time in your coop today with your fluffs feeding them one of Penny's favorites, red grapes, watermelon, scratch corn, sardines or mealworms. Please feel free to share photos and stories here of your flock too!

We also planted over 50 bulbs in the garden this weekend together so when Spring comes it will be almost as beautiful as Penny around here

I will be continuing to update Penny's Page with antics, stories and the many many countless photos that Penny and I took together. I am sure you know just how beautiful she was and how incredibly photogenic she was. She was also a kind spirt and a fighter all the way to the end.

Thank you all so very much for the kindness, care, compassion and love you all so graciously directed at Penny and my family. We truly could not have done it without all of your love and advice!

Yes- Penny is smiling from above knowing her besties in the west are getting lots of her favorite treats! How could I forget, blueberries were always a fan favorite for Miss Penny. That was how we started making her mini food bombs for her! Please give your flock lots of squeezes today from me and my coop!

I am sorry you are sad, I know it is tough to read such a post after a lifetime of amazing posts about Miss P. It truly was like "What in the world is Penny up to today"
