Teacher has serious issues and should be reported for this insulting conversation. This should never be the tenor of any conversation between a teacher and a student...I could see asking polite questions about an interesting hobby or pet, but to insult someone and suggest they need counseling for keeping chickens?

Boy I am so glad that I homeschool my kids!

I would have to go and have a chat with that teacher and principle if you were my child!

A question: Do your chickens have names? Does the teacher know that? He/she may think you really need counselling then!

I would take a chicken over any other pet...chickens give eggs...nothing else can do that!
