people with house chickens

Pics
No one can ever say that Gabby does not enjoy being in the house. This morning she jumped on the bed and woke us up because we slept in till 10. Today she was in and out all day. Very mild temps here today that all the girls were happy about. She goes to the fridge and asks for snacks. Begs at the table during dinner along with the dogs. And this evening she wanted to go back outside. When it got dark all the other girls went to the coop and she came to the slider and knocked on the glass with her beak for in.

That is a chicken that knows where she belongs.......

Awwww....*sniff* I love your stories about Gabby! My lovely proud hamburg girl is sitting on the back of a barstool at the breakfast bar with the kids as I type this. We were discussing what to make for dinner and she flew in to be a part of the discussion. (NO we do not eat chicken around here!)
(but, ilvcks, how did you sleep in till 10?!? I have'nt done that since I had surgery 2 years ago! What's your secret? No roos?

I cannot wait to see what hatches and to see if they are as personable as everyone says. Did you hatch handsome Romeo yourself?
