The pepper plant mix up this year has given me some surprises. Curious what others got. I planted a couple of them and they were all supposed to be this sweet pepper carnival blend. So far I’m getting green bell peppers and I think banana peppers (not sure). My parents planted jalapeños and they’re getting some other variety that is definitely not jalapeño.

Wow you got some amazing peppers. They are all exotic looking. I have to save the seeds from these this year so I know what I am actually getting next year.

I was really wanting a variety of bell peppers so I am a little disappointed I won’t be getting what I wanted, but I’m also kind of liking the surprise of getting other varieties.

I have always loved Stuffed peppers, only I realized that when I had them.
Out came the stuffing & the dog got the bitter pepper.

As time went by I got it. Why not let the pepper get ripe & sweet?
That was better, yet there was still something.

Then I discovered Poblano Rojo & Lesya & never went back to bells.

Check out he meaty walls & they ripen from inside out. Old heirloom pepper Lesya.

Those are so beautiful! I’m adding them to my “want” list. Where did you originally get them from? How would you describe the taste?
