For quite a while, I've tossed around this idea of crossing a sebright, d'uccle, OEGB, and serama together to create the "perfect bantam mutt". The results of this cross would be exactly 1/4 sebright, 1/4 d'uccle, 1/4 OEGB, and 1/4 serama. However, until today, I had only one of the chickens required to make this cross: a black breasted red old english game bantam. But, today, I just acquired two serama/d'uccle cockerels and a serama/d'uccle pullet! Of course, it will still be a long time before my project is completed, mainly because I currently have the room for maybe two more chickens, at the most. I also have been having trouble finding a silver sebright hen, which I would need to cross to my black breasted red OEGB rooster. So, for now, I'll just share pictures of my serama/d'uccles as they grow, as well as my OEGB rooster. I am sure that I will eventually have the means to complete this project, and when I do, I will definitely post lots of pictures of my "perfect bantam" cross!
I want to know when I turn the eggs from startup incubator ?
(**I am not trying to create a new breed or anything, I just want to experiment with crossbreeding and hopefully create some pretty bantam mutts**)[/QUOTE
No, only when I first introduced them. Even then, it was only a short fight, and neither one was injured.RIP Peanut and Ares...did you ever see Ares and Cheeto fight?
