Very interesting! Thank you very much for the idea!Have you ever heard of fly predators? I have never used them, but only read about them in horse magazines and catalogs, and I am not sure of the cost.
The downside is the cost, onm their web-site (https://www.spalding-labs.com/orders/place/step1.aspx) i entered 17 chickens into the form (they don't have a duck category) and the result was over $100

And i wouldn't be sure if the ducks wouldn't just simply eat those »beneficial bugs that control flies naturally« for dinner. - The things we do for ducks…
